As the first licensed Orofacial Pain Specialist in South Carolina, Dr. Haigler is proud to offer patients individualized care rooted in compassion, understanding, and experience.
Dr. Mary Charles B. Haigler is a board-certified orofacial pain specialist providing expert care in Greenwood, SC. Born and raised in South Carolina, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. After practicing general dentistry for several years, she recognized a need for specialized orofacial pain care within the region.
Motivated to better serve her patients, Dr. Haigler pursued advanced training in orofacial pain — completing a continuum at Louisiana State University's School of Dentistry and earning a postdoctoral Master's degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Her clinical interests include TMJ disorders, headaches, sleep-disordered breathing such as sleep apnea, and neuropathic pain conditions like trigeminal neuralgia. Patients throughout South Carolina and beyond trust Dr. Haigler for her compassion and dedication to patient care.
